Need a video security camera amplifier?
I have an indoor security camera with infrared. I run the signal from this camera a fair distance (over high grade cable) to a video modulator. But by the time the signal gets to the modulator, the signal is too weak. I need to amplify the signal at the source but don't know what kind of amplifier that would be.

Who makes a good (composite) video to USB converter for this purpose? Note: this is NOT a digital camera. This is an analog video camera.
There is now a digital webcam (about US$16 or NT$500 in Taiwan, like V-Gear), which already have SENSOR for movements. Check for this 'sensor' in specs when you are looking for a webcam.

how do I setup a IP based video security with monitors setup to network to view camera images without computer
I want to setup a IP based CCTV security system connected to my network. But also dedicate a 19" monitor to always view what is seen on one of the camera's, without the use of a computer as well.
