Is there a universal remote that controls dual deck VCRs like the go.video ddv2001?
The original remote is almost impossible to find but no universal remotes seem to be able to handle the dual deck, speed select, etc...
I have had no luck with muti device players either. You can sometimes get lucky and find an original on EBay.

Best solution for streaming video over a remote desktop connection?
I need to know what you would recommend as the best method of streaming video over a remote desktop? I know windows remote desktop doesn't refresh fast enough, but I know some of the hosted services like gotomypc or webexpc do a pretty good job...would VNC work? What has the best refresh rates and has anybody tried doing this and what was your best solution? Thanks
does anyone know where I could purchase the original video plus remote control?
This was the only remote that my elderly parents could understand. When their video player eventually broke it was replaced with one with video plus built in. However they cannot grasp this at all. I give up trying to show them HELP!!
Just go to Radioshack, Circuit City or Best Buy. they should have it. ask them for a universal remote.

i have a sanyo tv and my dog ate my remote, how do i chage from TV to video without the remote?
im currently using a Direct TV remote and it has a TV input button but does nothing when i push it. is there a way to access the tv video on my TV without the stock remote? what about a universal remote? isnt that what a Direct tv remote is anyway?
Unless you have the capability in the front panel controls for a menu to do this, then you are out of luck. You will require a remote control.

Can you hook up a satellite box to a tv with no remote or video button?
The tv that my satellite box was hooked up to went out after having to fool with it for about 5 months. Now I use this little back-up tv that has horrible color. So is it possible to plug in the satellite cord without being able to go to the video setting?
Yes, you can program the satellite remote to change the channels on the tv. Find out how: http://www.sathookup.com/faqs/change-dish-network-remote-address.php to program a Dish Network remote.
