It has only 3 channels...elevator,aileron and throttle control but without a rudder control which turns the aircraft left or right direction. So is it possible to turn rc airplane using only the ailerons and how safe is it to perform (turning) with it?
You can yank and bank an airplane, real big or rc, all you want without ever touching the rudder. Just as hard and fast as you like. Sure you'll get a little tail wag but hey, let's have some fun.

I am a pilot and may be interested in RC flying. I think most RCs use rudder to turn, whereas a real airplane uses ailerons. Real airplanes use power to control altitude and pitch for airspeed, but I don't know about RCs. Any thoughts for me? Also, what's a good starter plane?
Thanks!
I'm not confused. If you're going to tell me I'm wrong (which I'm not), at least tell me what's right! And you didn't even answer my question
it depends from the Channels of the RC station.
model sailplanes can work fine with one channel, controlling the rudder only.
two channels are usually rudder and elevator
then comes the throttle, and optionaly ailerons and sometimes other stuff, like remote cameras etc.
depends on how much weight your plane is able to carry.
under certain circumstances you could actually build a plane that would be two channel AND rudder and throttle, however you have to build it so that the propeller creates tail heavy momentum when working - that is, power up means climb, power idle means gliding down.
i cannot think of ANY safe mounting of the prop and engine that could ensure this ,and that mounting the engine and prop facing slightly upwards from the nose of the plane, whic is not practical

Electric Paper Plane Launcher Kit
Price:
$19.95
$9.95
This do-it-yourself science kit contains everything you need to learn how spinning motors and plastic discs are used to launch a paper plane at up to 31 mph (50 km/h).
Your paper airplanes will be flying through the air with this fun launcher.
Ready for take off!
This is the first time I have ever made a RC airplane.
Can I use a just as powerful electric engine as a gas one?
How much does a powerful electric engine for a RC plane going to be.
What do you think?
The larger plane would be better on gas but gas engines will cost more money consider you have to have a glow ignitor, gas ($17/gallon) and something to refill it with. Electric is a better for the small plane since it won't be as heavy and doesnt require anything extra to run other than a charger. The gases advantage is continuous flight so you can fly as long as you want as long as the engine doesnt overheat. Electric are restricted to about 14-20 min of flight time and a 45 min - 3 hr charge time. Electric allows more time for correction of errors while gas is stronger and runs faster at idle than electric so gas has less time to make corrections. The best bet would be electric for a small plane and gas for a large plane.

Can I play my RC airplane anywhere? like just go to a playground of a track filed? Or do i have to go to a specific place? Also, are there any other restrictions?
Most places there are no restrictions because R/C planes can't reach the heights a real plane can. However if the flying field is within a certain distance from an airport I think you are required to keep your plane below 500 ft. How do you know how high 500 ft is? You guess. Check out the AMA website or local chapter in your area.

I just wanted to know what type of wood is the best in building a RC airplane. Also, some other material necesary to build it.
You'll need Balsa and some ply wood from the hobby shop, you're better of to but a kit,an ARF (almost ready to fly).
