I need a personal GPS locator that works outside the US and is reliable. In case of getting lost or a kidnapping. Thanks for the help this is something very much need it.

Crutchfield reviews Zoombak GPS locator.

The GPS Locator does not locate the position of where i am at.

I don't own this particular product, but from what I understand about gps locators, the transmitter's (or whatever's) antenna must be positioned in such a way that no metal surfaces (like the roof of the vehicle) or indoor locations (like in a garage) can block the signal to a satellite. I have my antenna installed under my dashboard and the window above it allows the signal to be broadcast to or received by the satellites. If my car is parked in my garage I can't locate it on my computer or on my phone. But if it's in my driveway or anywhere else outdoors I can see where it is right down to the parking space it's in. And if I can locate it I can do all sorts of things, like lock or unlock the doors, disable or enable the starter, see how fast it's going, etc.

I know that Sony put out an option you can buy for PSP where it can turn into a GPS locator, but can you get this anywhere for free? I've seen a lot of videos and blogs about it so I'm pretty sure it's possible just wondering if anyone has actually located the website?

Try EBay. Keep an eye on the seller's rating and positive feedback and you can determine who's safe to buy from. I go to EBay all the time for gadgets and electronics and haven't been disappointed yet!

I purchased the Microsoft streets and trips 2007 without the GPS locator, but now I would like to get one. how do go about it?

Can you go to ms online and see if they will sell you one?
