I am wondering if there is anything like the gps device that comes with Microsoft Streets and Trips, but able to be put in a car without using a laptop. Sort of like the Boost Mobile commercial that shows where someone is at via gps device in there phone. I'm hoping to find something that can be put in the car and able to access at home on a computer. If you know any product close to what I am describing, please tell me.
yes but its not a microsoft compatible product, look up navteq they are really more of a commercial supplier but thier products might help

how do you locate a gps or lojack device on your car?
i just had a lojack device installed on my car but they wouldn't show me where they installed it (for security reasons). So i'm wondering where is it if in fact they installed it. any help would be appreciated.
Lojack is installed with out the owners knowledge of its location. I know you want to know where it is located. I think if you read the information packet there is a way to have it tested by the police. The reason for not telling you is so no one will know where it is because you told them. So if you want to spend about two weeks looking you may find it...Then again maybe not...Just enjoy the fact that if someone takes your car it should be back in your drive way in a few hours...

No, this sort of thing is a dealer add-on, so it is not on all the trucks. Contact your dealer if you are unsure, but you really should be aware of what is on your vehicle.
Oh, in the odd chance you stole one, YES! They all do, and Delta Force tracks them and attacks that location at 3 am local time.
