I would like to know if there is a way to get free GPS maps for Samsung i780. If so please tell me how!

If you install Google maps(with the "My Location" feature), you can get real time maps with your location accurate up to 20 feet.

Is it possible? Does the phone come with preinstalled maps you can look at for free? How much does TeleNav cost?

Nothing in life is free. The maps program that comes with a BB is free as is Google Maps. However, you have to have a data plan to load the actual maps. Also, most service providers (like AT&T, T-Mobile) charge an additional fee for GPS service.

I have a TomTom One 3rd Ed. GPS system. Is there any free software for my computer that lets me plot out points on a map and works with the GPS? I was wondering how I can connect my GPS to my laptop and use the laptop to view maps, plot out points, and track my position. Something like that.

looking for a GPS map that works on my Garmin Legend C, that is detailed enough to allow for off the main road bicycle rides. I spent enough on the GPS without now spending money for a good map.

You can obviously buy tons of maps - routing, non-routing, topographics, etc.

Here is a thread that sums up the various ways to get maps for Garmin products. I've bookmarked it for myself, but never tried any of the methods. I know people have taken in aerial photographs and put them onto Garmin products, so this is possible, but not for the faint of heart.
