sometimes when i go to a website i get a popup that says something about an error and if i want to debug it. if i click yes microsofts debugging software somes on, but usually i have to break the debugging. what am i even debugging? and what should i do when i get those popup alerts?

The facility is there to assist the web designer with correcting errors in the web page design. If it's not your website and you're not in control of the html code on the page, there's not too much use in you debugging it at all.

Also check that the popups are genuinely from the browser and not a popup advert/malware installer.

Whenever I search for PHP source level debugging, it seems to point me to either Xdebug or Zend. But I can never seem to find a current, valid set of instructions on setting it up.

I want to do source level debugging of my PHP code, on my Mac OS X 10.5.6, MacBook Pro. Has anyone actually succeeded at this themselves?

I don't have time to look into this in detail, but I DO have this working on my Mac setup.

You need to install the Xdebug extension on your web server. Then grab MacGDBp:

It's a beautiful front-end that will let you walk through your PHP scripts, set breakpoints, etc.

the program debuggs fine on most computers but there has been reports that a few computers have been giving this error when debugging..anyone know why?

The debugging menu is a menu where u can add items and enemies to stages. You can also alter stages and players moves. Its basically a menu where you can redevelope the game, or something to that effect.

well the only way to do that is to do practice , play Versus Mode or use codebreaker, or Action Replay to get items or alter stages and moves. with codebreaker or action replay u also get to play as hand boss lol.. But to get a codebreaker or action replay it cost 40 dollars so i think u are better of playing the game normaly :P or with someone and icreasing the item rate.

Every time I play it asks if I want to debug. I say no and it comes back later while playing. If i say yes I get the debug window and I choose run debug, but nothing. I have Vista Windows on this computer.

maybe the window shows a check box where you can put in : don't show this message again.

Or maybe it's because you have Vista. Not too sure.

Hello.. Im programming with vwd express edition i put breakpoint then press f8 or shift f8 but it doesn't work and its hard for me to debug?
Please help...

Try f11. I think that you can change it under options.
